Yep. SuperTemplates is a one-person company (plus Nori the dog, who is very important for morale). Built with obsessive attention to detail by someone who actually uses Jira every day — and was tired of staying late because of it.
No VC funding. No 50-person team. Just a team lead who refused to accept that "admin work" means overtime.

The beginning
As a team lead, I wear too many hats. Plan the sprint. Break down features. Enter everything into Jira. Then do my actual work.
The planning part? That's valuable. Thinking through the work, identifying risks, figuring out who does what. That's the job.
But manually typing 40 tasks into Jira? Click, type, click, type. Setting the same fields over and over. That's not work — that's punishment.
So I built SuperTemplates. Now I describe what needs to be done, review the generated tasks, and push to Jira in one click. The planning stays — the busywork goes.
