Terms of Service

By installing, accessing, or using SuperTemplates (“the App”) from the Atlassian Marketplace, you (“Customer”, “you”, or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and the Atlassian Marketplace Terms of Use. If you are accepting on behalf of your employer or another entity, you represent that you have full authority to bind that entity.

SuperTemplates is operated by a registered business (działalność gospodarcza) in Poland. The App is intended for professional and business use only. For full legal entity details, see our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the App. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the most current version of these Terms.

SuperTemplates is an Atlassian Forge app that provides AI-powered and manual bulk task creation for Jira Cloud. The App's functionality is categorized as follows:

Manual Features — functionality of the App that operates without sending your content to an external AI model for generation, extraction, or transformation. Examples include but are not limited to the bulk editor, templates, description presets (when used without AI generation), sequential dates, round-robin assignment, Smart Replace, and keyboard shortcuts.

AI-Powered Features — functionality of the App that, when used, sends or relies on your content being processed by an external AI model or service to generate, extract, or transform content. Examples include but are not limited to AI task extraction and AI-generated descriptions. A feature is AI-Powered only when and to the extent AI processing is invoked; otherwise it is a Manual Feature.

If AI-Powered Features are unused or disabled by your site administrator, no Jira issue content or user-entered content is sent to third-party AI providers. If both AI-Powered Features and analytics (see our Analytics & Cookies page) are disabled, no data is sent to third-party services outside Atlassian infrastructure.

You are solely responsible for your inputs, configuration choices, and for reviewing, validating, and approving any content or changes created, suggested, or applied by the App before use in Jira.

The App includes AI functionality powered by third-party providers (Cerebras, Google Vertex AI). AI is included in all plans — no API key is required to start.

For enterprise compliance, the App supports Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) for OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google Gemini. BYOK providers are disabled by default and require admin opt-in. When using BYOK:

• You are responsible for your API key usage and associated costs
• You must comply with the respective provider's terms of service
• SuperTemplates is not liable for charges incurred on your API key
• You are responsible for rotating and securing your API keys

Subject to these Terms and your valid Marketplace license, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your internal business purposes in connection with your Atlassian Jira Cloud instance.

This license does not include the right to sublicense, redistribute, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works based on the App.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we expressly disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:

• Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
• Any warranty that the App will meet your requirements or expectations
• Any warranty that the App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• Any warranty regarding the accuracy or reliability of AI-generated content
• Any warranty regarding the results obtained from the use of the App

Software is never wholly free from defects, errors, and bugs. We do not warrant that the App will operate without interruption or that any defects will be corrected.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SuperTemplates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to:

• Damages resulting from AI-generated content
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunities, or goodwill
• Service interruptions or outages
• Third-party AI provider failures or changes
• Costs incurred through BYOK API key usage
• Errors in task creation, field mapping, or template rendering

Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. For free plans, our total liability is zero.

Exclusions: Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; (c) gross negligence or willful misconduct (including under Polish Civil Code); or (d) any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer protection laws.

SuperTemplates, including its code, design, documentation, and features, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of:

• Templates and content you create using the App
• Your Jira data and project configurations
• AI-generated content once approved and created in your Jira instance

We claim no ownership over content generated for your Jira instance. AI-generated content is provided as-is without warranties of originality or non-infringement.

Either party may terminate these Terms at any time by uninstalling the App from the Atlassian Marketplace. We may also terminate or suspend access to the App immediately if:

• You breach these Terms
• Your Atlassian Marketplace license expires or is revoked
• Required by law or regulation
• Continued provision is commercially impracticable

Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Data stored in Forge Key-Value Storage will be handled according to Atlassian's data retention policies. Sections 4, 10, 11, 12, 15, and 16 survive termination.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Poland, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails within 30 days, the dispute shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the rules of the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Chamber of Commerce (Sąd Arbitrażowy przy Krajowej Izbie Gospodarczej), conducted in English, with the seat of arbitration in Warsaw, Poland.

Class action waiver: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that any claims shall be brought on an individual basis only, and you waive any right to participate in a class, collective, or representative action.

EU consumers: If you are a consumer in the European Union, nothing in these Terms affects your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence. You may also bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.

Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and EULA, constitute the entire agreement between you and SuperTemplates regarding the App.

Severability. If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.

No Waiver. Failure to enforce any right under these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right.

Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction, including to a successor entity upon incorporation or restructuring (e.g., transition from sole proprietorship to sp. z o.o.), provided the successor assumes all obligations under these Terms. Such assignment does not require separate Customer consent.
